-
Owing to the inclination of meritorious students towards the lucrative technical education, majority of the students who are admitted in to the institution have low academic standards which is a key challenge facing all the undergraduate colleges offering traditional courses of basic sciences. Consequently the pass percentage and the employability of the students are not encouraging.
-
Lack of autonomy in the design of curriculum to bridge the gap between the curriculum and the industry requirement.
-
Owing to the low economic status of the students, introducing self finance courses is a challenge
-
More competitions from private colleges.
-
Lack of job oriented courses which can enhance student enrollment
-
Poor communication skills of the students as they hail from a rural background.
-
Offering limited number of courses might mitigate the patronage to basic sciences relative to the growing popularity of technical education.
